Gatilox Hs Eye Drops 3ml (Gatifloxacin) is a type of antibiotic called a fluoroquinolone. It works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It does this by interfering with the bacteria's ability to produce essential proteins, which are needed for their survival.
Store gatifloxacin at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
The dose of gatifloxacin will depend on the type of infection you have and your overall health. Your doctor will determine the right dose for you.
Gatifloxacin is usually taken by mouth with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
Do not stop taking gatifloxacin without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better.
Take gatifloxacin for the full length of time prescribed, even if you feel better. Stopping early can lead to the infection returning.
