Hipril 2.5mg Tab (Lisinopril) works by relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. It does this by blocking the action of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). ACE is involved in the production of a hormone that constricts blood vessels. By blocking ACE, lisinopril prevents this constriction, leading to lower blood pressure.
Store lisinopril at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it in its original container, tightly closed.
The dosage of lisinopril will vary depending on your condition, age, and overall health.
It is usually taken once a day, with or without food.
Do not crush, chew, or break lisinopril tablets.
Swallow them whole with a glass of water.
