Oxymetazoline hydrochloride is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called alpha-adrenergic agonists.
Relieves nasal congestion associated with the common cold, allergies, or sinusitis.
May also be used to shrink swollen nasal membranes before nasal surgery.
Nasivion 0.05% Classic Nasal Spray (Adult) 10ml (Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride) works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages. This reduces swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe.
Store at room temperature, between 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit).
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if the product has changed color or clarity.
Discard after the expiration date printed on the label.
Follow the instructions on the label or as directed by your doctor.
Adults and children over 12 years old: 2-3 sprays in each nostril, 2-3 times daily.
Children 6-12 years old: 1-2 sprays in each nostril, 2-3 times daily.
Do not use for more than 3-5 consecutive days without consulting your doctor.
Headache.
Drowsiness.
Insomnia.
Nausea.
Vomiting.
Increased blood pressure.
May increase the risk of drowsiness. Avoid alcohol while using this medication.
May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Use with caution in children, as they may be more sensitive to the effects of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Caution is advised for individuals with kidney problems. Your doctor may adjust the dosage.
