Racecadotril

An antidiarrheal medication that works by reducing the secretion of fluids in the intestines.

Treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 12 years old.

Treatment of bacterial infections in the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues.

Racecadotril works by inhibiting the enzyme enkephalinase, which helps reduce fluid secretion in the intestines. Ofloxacin works by inhibiting DNA synthesis in bacteria, leading to their death.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

Follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

The usual dosage is 1 sachet (5 ml) three times daily.

Take the medication with or without food.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women. If you are breastfeeding, talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of using this medication.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years old.



Kidney

This medication should be used with caution in patients with kidney problems.



Liver

This medication should be used with caution in patients with liver problems.
